EK Newsletter 10/9/2007 -

By: Sally A. Nolte

Parents' Day has been moved from 10/13/2007 to 10/27/2007, due to people not being able to make it, or just an inconvenient date. You'll receive handouts when you bring your children out for lessons ' or if you're an adult, your parents can still come if they'd like to! I'll give you one to give to them. This can also be for parents who may want their children to come ride, and want to find out what it's all about first.> Keep up the good work with the fundraiser! I'm sure as you guys have all seen, the tack room is busting at the seams. It's way too full, with all the grain, beet pulp, saddles, and hairballs! I can hardly wait to get the new one up! Jack Bolick and his brother-in-law, and several of his friends from church have volunteered to build the new tack room for us ' which means with all that work, it'll be done in a matter of days! Then there will be a lot of extra room for us to work with. However, we can't get this started until we're done with the fundraiser.

>If you haven't had a chance to start asking people to donate, the deadline is coming up fast! All cards/proceeds should be turned in by the end of October. Remember to ask friends, family, grandparents, and the mice under your bed!

>Also if you're choosing just to make a donation to the fundraiser instead of using one of the scratch-off cards, please turn in said donation by the end of the month as well. From that point we'll send a portion of it to the United States Equine Rescue League, and use the rest for the farm! Thank you!

>Thanks everyone for all you've done! I'm really excited about where Equine Kingdom is going from here.
