White Socks: Front or hind legs are white from the coronet band upward to any point below the knee or hock.

White Stockings: Front or hind limbs are white from the coronet band upward to above the knee or hock.

Ermine Marks: Black or brown dots that appear on or around the coronet or pastern on a white sock.

Zebra Marks: Rings of dark hair appearing around the lower leg, which are associated with primitive or feral breeds.
