- Jinzhou -

Technically, the Jinzhou falls under the "Pony" category, but I didn't manage to put it there, so it's going to stay here for now. They are mainly bay in color, with other colors rarely occurring. The Jinzhou horse is found in Jin county, which is on the southern Liaodong peninsula in the Liaoning region of China. They are a riding and draft horse, and are also kept for meat and milk production. It was developed in 1926 from the local Mongolian type crossed with imported light and heavy horse breeds.
