The Old Kladruby Horse is a horse that was developed
in the Czech Republic, and now dwells in the East Bohemian Region.
It is thought to have strains of the Old Spanish Horse, Old Neapolitan
Horse, Lipizzaner, Friesian, Orlov Trotter, and Andalusian. Their
herdbook was established in 1770.
They can be black or gray, and their most notable feature is
their long, flowing, silky manes and tails. They are used as sport
horses, for riding, for carriage horses, and for show horses for
ceremonies and presentations. There are not very many of these horses
still alive today, but preservation techniques are in place.
