- Rottal -

The Rottal is the international name of this breed, but its local name is the Rottaler. It originated in Germany country-wide and has an established herd book. Its colors are bay, black, and chestnut and they can stand 175 centimeters at the withers. They are critically endangered, as there are only eleven estimated horses left in the world. They are used as sport horses and are adaptable in jumping and dressage.
